Aquatic Complex of Châteauguay

Aquatic Complex of Châteauguay

Aquatic complex of Châteauguay

The Challenge

The newly formed Régie Beauchâteau, made up of the municipalities of Châteauguay and Beauharnois, wanted to build a regional aquatic complex composed of a 25-metre pool and a recreational basin to serve its population and become a key regional aquatic center in Montérégie.

Our Contribution

Our team of sports facilities experts conducted a comprehensive market study including an analysis of the competitive environment, an assessment of the current demand and a forecast of its evolution. LBB also upgraded the technical functional program of the aquatic complex with the team of architects.

The Results

The study demonstrated that there is a real need for the Régie Beauchâteau and that the development of a large-scale aquatic complex in Châteauguay was necessary for the development of the region’s aquatic sports. LBB’s feasibility study was necessary to justify the project as part of the funding application to be submitted to public funders.
