Cap Saint-Jacques Nature Park (City of Montreal)

The Challenge

The Cap Saint-Jacques Nature Park of the City of Montreal, considered the largest urban park in Canada, wanted to carry out a feasibility study aimed at deploying a range of equestrian services, all with a view to protecting the historical heritage and ecosystem of the park.

Our Contribution

As part of the City of Montreal’s master urban planing for its large parks, LBB is conducting a feasibility study to evaluate the sites for the deployment of an equestrian offer (buildings, animation site) and a network of equestrian trails in the Cap Saint-Jacques Nature Park. This feasibility study includes an assessment of the supply and demand for equestrian activities, the technical feasibility in terms of protecting the historical heritage and ecosystem and the operational viability. This study will allow the City of Montreal to plan the necessary investments if it decides to offer this equestrian activity to its population.
