The Challenge<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Montreal Alouettes wanted to apply to the Canadian Football League (CFL) to host the 2020 Grey Cup in Montreal. Hosting the event was an opportunity to develop the club’s business and increase the Alouettes’ and football’s visibility on the Quebec, Montreal and Canadian scenes. An event that generates huge economic impacts for the host city.<\/p>\n

Our Contribution<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With its LBB\u2019s team of sporting events developed the Montreal Alouettes\u2019 bid and provided project management services. In collaboration with Tourism Montreal and the LBB-Alouettes team, we created the bid book, which included cost and revenue estimates, hosting strategies, partnerships and programming.<\/p>\n

The Results<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The bid was submitted to the CFL with great success but the Grey Cup organization in Montreal was postponed due to the construction of the roof of the Olympic Stadium.<\/p>\n
